Our Story
LakeView Pack Engineering (LVPE) was founded in 2013 by Eric Lake, following more than 15 years of successful engineering and project leadership roles at respected firms including Jedson Engineering, Patheon Pharmaceuticals, and Fluor Corporation.
While Eric found professional success in those positions, he sought greater flexibility for his growing family. That desire sparked the creation of LVPE—an engineering consulting company built on trusted relationships, personalized service, and fair pricing.
Eric began by partnering with former colleagues and industry contacts who valued his expertise, work ethic, and approachable style. His client-focused, relationship-driven approach quickly set LVPE apart from larger consulting firms. As demand grew, he began collaborating with other trusted professional engineers to meet expanding project needs.
As LVPE’s reputation and range of services grew beyond packaging engineering, the company evolved into LakeView Technical Services (LVTS)—a name that reflects the broader scope and technical diversity of the team.

Eric Lake brings over 25 years of extensive experience in Engineering, Validation, and Project Management, with a strong focus on the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Food & Beverage industries.
From early in his career, Eric’s entrepreneurial spirit has driven him to challenge the status quo and uncover innovative pathways to success. As the President and Founder of LakeView Technical Services, he has developed and implemented a business model that consistently delivers positive, measurable outcomes for clients while prioritizing the growth and well-being of the company’s most valuable asset: its technical service professionals.
Under Eric’s leadership, LakeView Technical Services continues to evolve and expand, positioning itself as a world-class provider of engineering and validation consulting services. He is committed to fostering a culture of excellence and innovation, ensuring the company remains a trusted partner for clients across diverse manufacturing sectors.
Robert (Bob) Adkins
Bob Adkins brings over 25 years of exceptional experience delivering validation solutions to the world’s leading Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Food & Beverage companies.
Throughout his career, Bob has supported diverse functions including Quality Control, Manufacturing, Packaging, Operations Management, Engineering, Project Management, and Validation. As Director of Validation at LakeView Technical Services, he provides expert guidance on commissioning, qualification, and validation compliance.
Bob is skilled at developing and executing tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client. He is passionate about growing the validation team and expanding LakeView’s reputation as a trusted leader in validation consulting.
Brian Watson
Brian Watson brings over 25 years of expertise in Packaging Equipment Engineering, Lean Manufacturing (Six Sigma Black Belt Certified), Project Management, and Validation services for the world’s leading Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Food & Beverage industries.
As Director of Engineering at LakeView Technical Services, Brian has successfully delivered numerous projects including facility upgrades, automated packaging solutions, and new manufacturing suites. Validation services have become an integral component of his project deliverables, reflecting his commitment to comprehensive quality and compliance.
Brian’s broad industry experience enables him to identify and implement process improvements that enhance client operations. He looks forward to leveraging his skills on future projects while cultivating strong, lasting client relationships.
